Phrasal Verb란, 동사 + 전치사 또는 동사 + 부사가 조합된 형태로서, 동사가 Phrasal Verb로 활용 될 때 기존 동사의 뜻과 완전히 다른 뜻이나 늬앙스가 되어버리는 경우가 많다.
